Registration for the 2016 Volkswagen Jingle Cross Cyclo-Cross Festival is now open at BikeReg.com. This years Volkswagen Jingle Cross features the Telenet UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup with the best cyclists from all over the world descending on Iowa. World Champion Wout van Aert has already confirmed and so have many other of the World's best. This is an event you don't want to miss AND you get to race on the World Cup course. Compare your lap times to the World Champion!

Registration was at a record pace today with more registrations in the first 12 hours than we had in the entire Jingle Cross just 5 years ago. Field limits are projected to be reached for several categories so don't miss out on your chance. Reserved Team Tent space, which includes parking, is already nearly 1/2 gone in some zones.

Besides great USACycling racing on Friday and Sunday, we have a Hole Shot Party kicking things off on Thursday night with a professional fireworks show and great events for the kids. Friday is USACycling racing plus your first look at the world's best during a mid-day 2 hour World Cup course preview. Then Musco Friday Night Lights takes over for great USACycling action and the first pro races of the weekend Friday Night to the rockin'sounds of our DJ's.

Saturday kicks off the morning with the Volkswagen Jingle Cross Fondo by Clif Bar featuring celebrities Christian Vande Velde and Jason McCartney. Finish on the World Cup course with bands and DJ's and great food. Bike Valet and showers will be on sight. The Grinch's Kids race and kids zone will be open and then we will see the first of two Midwest One Grinch's Single Speed Speedo Spectacular nutty displays of cycling silliness. The Beer Festival will already be going and the VIP section opens up as we get ready for the World Cup. Big screen TV's will catch the Iowa Football game early in the day and then all attention will be on the Teelenet UCI World Cup of Cyclo-Cross. Bands and DJ's will finish off the night as the party goes into the early evening hours.

Sunday has more USACycling racing all day and culminates in the final pro races of the weekend, the Volkswagen Jingle Cross C1 events. You came to see the World Cup and the best athletes? Well they'll be racing again in the C1 to get those valuable UCI points! You'll see the best athletes race twice in one weekend, race a few times yourself in the same weekend, beer festival, great food, fireworks, Dj's, live bands...are you kidding me?
