West Des Moines, Iowa — Members of the City of West Des Moines Bicycle Master Plan Task Force will be hosting a Public Open House to gather feedback on a revised Bicycle Master Plan and draft Complete Streets Policy on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Raccoon River Park Nature Lodge, 2500 Grand Avenue, in West Des Moines.
The revised Bicycle Master Plan is based upon a plan prepared in February 2011, and it includes updated goals and a newly revised map showing proposed trails and on-street bike facilities.
For those unable to attend the Open House, the draft Bicycle Master Plan and Complete Streets Policy are available on the City’s website at http://www.wdm.iowa.gov/government/parks-recreation/bicycle-master-plan-task-force .
