2004 Bill to ban Iowa Cyclists from four-lane roads
(posted 1/14/2004)      View all News Items
Take a look at the bicycle related bill at the Iowa Legislative General Assembly website.....we need to get this out to the bikers, have them write their legislators. This will directly affect the ability of cyclists to use roads as a form of transportation!!

It is on of the 2004 Bills Approved Prior to Session that was sponsored by Senator John Putney from Gladbrook, IA . It can be referred to as Senate File 2001

While this bill has only been sponsored and is awaiting introduction into the Senate, we can make a difference now by contacting our legislators and informing them of cyclists rights be be on the highways.
