MASON CITY, Iowa – Separate trials are now scheduled for an alleged bicycle thief in North Iowa.
20-year-old Jesse Kenen Rafael of Mason City was arrested and charged with 2nddegree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 16 and May 21. In both instances, Rafael is accused of stealing a bicycle from a Mason City garage.
Rafael is pleading not guilty and jury trials on the burglary charges have been scheduled for July 19 and August 2 in Cerro Gordo County District Court. Non-jury trials on the drug paraphernalia charges are set for September 10 and 17.
