something else to make it better than new.
Possibly the last one he gave away went to a teenage boy who had lost his bike to flooding in Rock Valley, Iowa, where the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa started
last year. Four days later along the route, the president of Siouxland
Cyclists went to sleep at an overnight stop in Mason City and never woke
up. He was 74.
