The long-awaited, new, "Mayor's Pedestrian Bridge" overpass, over Iowa HWY 58 has opened in Cedar Falls. With the new bridge, along with the new Greenhill Road underpass, riders no longer have to navigate the busiest vehicle traffic intersection on Cedar Valley Trails system, HWY 58 & Greenhill Road. Two of the system's trails, Cedar Prairie Trail and Cedar Lakes Trail, had been segmented over a year in order to complete the project.
