Four consecutive days of unique racing here in Central Iowa!
6/17/10 - Thursday the racing starts with the Elkhart Time Trial. See www.cyclingupdate.com and http://www.elkhartttseries.blogspot.com/ for details. Registration closes at 6:15 p.m, first rider off at 6:30. This race is presented by Zealous Racing.
6/18/10 - Friday is the Rose Festival Twilight Criterium in State Center. The racing kicks of with junior races at 4:30 p.m...the Women's race starts at 5:30 p.m. See http://www.centraliowacyclingclub.org/ for details. This race is presented by Colorbiotics & the Central Iowa Cycling Club.
6/19/10 - Saturday at 1 p.m. is the annual Green Days Crit in Johnston. This is a very family-friendly event up and down the Pioneer Parkway boulevard...two 180 degree turns. All profit supports the General Fund of the Iowa Cycling Development Foundation which has provided more than $4,000 to support junior racing this year. This race is presented by DMOS, RDMB Junior Racing and the Des Moines Cycle Club, with generous support from several prize sponsors, including Irwin's Bike and Sport. 6/20/10 - Sunday is the Rose Festival Road Race in Bangor, Ia. First race rolls out at 9:30 a.m. See http://www.centraliowacyclingclub.org/events/rose_festival_rr.php for details. This race is presented by Colorbiotics & the Central Iowa Cycling Club.
