Fat Tire Fun Ride Route change

Des Moines, IA Notice: the June 12 Fat Tire Fun Ride's route has been changed due to construction/closure along the Clive Greenbelt trail in West Des Moines. The BIKEIOWA.com clan is taking the lead on this ride, and the NEW destination will be Saint's Pub & Patio at 265 50th Street in West Des Moines, IA which just happens to be 25 feet off the bike trail! The owners have been wanting to have a Bike ride stop there for some time and they have a great patio too! We are working on refreshment specials when we get there! The route: From the Bait Shop take the Meredith Trail to Bill Riley Trail, then cut through a few blocks in Valley Junction, hit Railroad for a bit, then cross over Grand and hop on the Jordan Creek Trail toward 50th. It should be about 20 miles round-trip. JUN 12 2010 Fat Tire Fun Ride - Saint's Pub & Patio DETAILS Feel free to ride all or some of it.
