Yes, there will be $2.00 bicycle parking at the fair this year.

Iowa State Fair - August 7th - 17th 2008 Go Green and escape the Fair gridlock by riding your bike to the fair this year! Bicycle parking is inside Gate 9 (south west corner) http://www.iowastatefair.org/ “We do have bike rack available through Gate 9 and Gate 10. They’re close together,” said fair manager Gary Slater. “Bring your own lock. We’ll have security watching, but bring your own lock.” No bike riding allowed on the fairgrounds during the fair.
