The Des Moines Cycle Club is proud to announce the 2nd Annual DMCC Pajama Party Ride. For 2010 the DMCC Pajama Party Ride moves to Colby Park as part of the activities of the Windsor Heights Oktoberfest. Fireworks, chili, The Blue Band, German food and beer, inflatable’s and lots of other kids activities, perfect day for a family bike ride. So dress up in your best Pajama’s, deck out your bike and come join this simple joyride to celebrate the exhilaration of riding a bike. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed person, best dressed couple and best decorated bike, and lots of other give-a-ways and prizes. The 2nd Annual DMCC Pajama Party Ride will leave from Colby Park at 4 PM, ride towards downtown totally on the wonderful central Iowa trail system. The official turn-around point is at Mullet’s Grill, 7 miles on the trail, but you are welcome to ride as long or as short as you, and your abilities take you. You’ll want to return to Colby Park in time to enjoy the great music of The Blue Band playing until 7 PM and we’ll top the evening off with a huge fireworks display just after 7 PM.
