As the cool weather rolls in, so does Iowa cyclocross. The season kicks off on Sept 26th with two days of Capital City Cross.

Des Moines, IA When: Sept 26 and 27 Capital City Cross is the first cyclocross race of the 2009 season. Come Race or Come Watch! Two Parks in two days! New for 2009, the 'Central Iowa Cyclocross Series' - Powered by Scheels. This is an eight race series comprised races around central Iowa. We've seen awesome turnouts at the Cyclocross 101 clinic and the weekly Tuesday night Renegade Practices. Cyclocross will be very popular for all skill-sets this year! Get $5.00 off your entry fee BIKEIOWA.com is footin' part of your entry fee if you are a first time cross racer.
