With drink specials and prizes, Join Team +one on our first annual ride to raise funds for 24 Hours of Booty, a 24 hour cycling event held each year, in various states across the country. The Iowa members of Team +one will be traveling to Indianapolis June 27th and 28th to support the cause, and are holding a weekend bike ride to raise funds for the event. Your donation and participation will help to raise funds for beneficiaries including the LIVESTRONG foundation, and the IU Simon Cancer Center. 



Team Plus One [+ one] is a cycling team, founded by two-time cancer beater Bryan Shields, whose purpose is to use organized cycling rides to raise awareness of and procure donations for the LIVESTRONG Foundation and other local cancer charities, all while satiating the well-being and altruistic commitment of its riders.

So far…
+ one has participated in the 24 Hours of Booty event in Charlotte, NC for the past 5 years. The team has been supported by a core group of friends and family, growing to 25 team members for 24 Hours of Booty in 2012. The team has raised $100,000 over the past three years. $50,000 has gone to support programs funded by Live Strong at the national level, and the other $50,000 has gone to support local cancer initiatives in Charlotte, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Washington, D.C. receiving generous donations from Charlotte businesses AXIOM Architecture, Pura Vida Fitness, and Common Market. Because of + one’s commitment, Bryan was selected to represent 24 Hours of Booty in Live Strong’s annual Ride for the Roses in Austin, TX in October of 2010. Additionally, Bryan has participated in numerous publicity and survivorship events in Charlotte [on television, radio, and invited direct speaking engagements] – telling + one’s story of Survivorship, Hope, and Perseverance.
