Trail Ride

Distance - 25 miles

Local cyclist/artist John Hansen sadly passed away recently. Best known for designing the rivendell bicycle werks head badge John was revered in the cycling and art community.  Friends and family will be celebrating his life on May 21st with a ride from Perry to Jamaica and back followed by a get together at Johns sisters house (Jackies) with live music and refreshments. Feel free to bring food/beverage of choice. We will leave the raccoon river bicycle co. Located at 2nd and Willis in Perry around noon. And arrive at Jackies house on 2120 2nd street (2nd and park) around 5. A handful of Johns cycling friends will be heading to the high trestle bridge for a moonlight ride later that evening. Please feel free to join us. And special thanks to Lee and Jodi coons for giving us a starting destination at the shop. Tent camping available at jackies and other off site locations close by
