A Mason City man suffered minor injuries in a car-bicycle accident Wednesday, March 14th.
According to Mason City Police, bicyclist Chad Sickles, 32, was northbound in the right lane near the curb on North Delaware Avenue when the car next to him made a right turn into a business hitting Sickles.
The vehicle was driven by Beverly Thompson, 51, Mason City. According to Mason City police, Thompson apparently didn’t see the bicyclist before making the right turn.
Thompson was cited for making an unsafe turn.
Sickles, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Mercy Medical Center—North Iowa with non-life threatening injuries. His condition is not available at this time.
