An Oct. 12 arraignment is now set for a 79-year-old central Iowa man accused of hitting and killing a bicyclist.
Paul McKinney, of Madison County, is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, obstruction of prosecution by destruction of evidence and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
McKinney is accused of driving a pickup that hit and killed Mark Grgurich, of Des Moines, in rural Warren County on Aug. 30. McKinney was charged on Sept. 14.
His arraignment was originally set for Tuesday Sept 22nd.
