Description
The very important connector trail will eventually connect the Raccoon River Valley Trail to the High Trestle Trail.(Perry to Bouton to Woodward)
This 9 mile stretch is rideable now via a 6 mile stretch of Gravel (130th St) out of Perry to Bouton, then a 5 mile rural paved road from Bouton to Woodward (still 130th St). Be aware - The gravel can be chunky at times and other times it is almost like pavement.
There are a couple miles paved already
1.5 miles from Perry East in Oct 2018 and 1 mile from Woodward West in Sept 2020

This trail will extend from Perry to Bouton to Woodward connecting two of the most popular trails in Iowa.

From Hotel Pattee in Perry to the High Trestle Trail Bridge just West of Woodward, this trail will give cyclists access to most trails in Central Iowa and all the sites and attractions alongs the 30+ communities.
