BENEFIT: Iowa then has ONE awesome complete non-platform-specific cycling calendar for ALL events that anyone can view from anywhere.
UNIQUE: No other state has a calendar like this where all types of cycling events are posted in one spot.
Q & A:
CAN I EDIT MY EVENT? Yes
CAN I DUPLICATE MY EVENT? Yes, we call it cloning
CAN I ADD RECURRING EVENTS? Yes
CAN I UPLOAD A PHOTO and/or POSTER? Yes
CAN I ADD A DESTINATION EVENT? Yes - There is an "event type" called "Destination" for cycling-friendly events such as meet-ups, education, expos, sales, live music, happy-hours etc.
CAN I ADD A RECAP OR RESULTS? Yes - We recommend this as it adds more exposure to your event to let other know how it went.
CAN I FILTER THE EVENT CALENDAR? Yes - You can filter by Event Type, Month/Day/Year and/or Keyword
CAN I VIEW PAST EVENTS? Yes - We keep all past events back to 2000! As of Jan 2023, there are more than 13.8k events.
DOES THE EARLY BIRD GET THE WORM? Yes - Iowa is lucky to have SO many events and many overlap each other these days. Post early so folks can plan their cycling adventures.
WHY DOESN'T BIKEIOWA POST OTHER'S EVENTS? We stopped posting other's events because we like to give the event coordinator the ability to edit their event in the case that some details change. It also limits our liability and ensure the details as as up-to-date as possible.
