A group from Cedar Rapids is back home after riding 3,000 miles coast to coast to raise money for The Alzheimer's Association.
That ride from San Diego to Florida helped bring in more than $38,000 for the cause.
Team Biking to Remember hosted a post-ride celebration at the Sag Wagon Tuesday night.
"I don't know of anyone who has not been impacted by Alzheimer's in some way: A family member, a friend, a friend of a friend. So, I would just encourage people to get involved and to make a difference. Because everybody has that opportunity whether it's big or small," Team Leader Jenny Lorenz said.
Jenny Lorenz says she rides for her mom who is living with late stage Alzheimer's, and her mother’s sisters and brothers who all passed away from Alzheimer's.
