Mason City will be hosting an overnight stop for bikers in RAGBRAI 2022.
The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa is returning to the state for its 49th year. Mason City will welcome more than 15,000 guests from all over the country and globe for the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world on Wed. July 28.
Mason City last was scheduled to be a pit stop for RAGBRAI in 2014. It was estimated that a $3 million economic impact was generated by riders, guests and visitors during the overnight stop.
