Experience Waterloo announced "The Purple Xperience" Prince tribute band will headline the evening entertainment when Waterloo hosts an overnight stop for RAGBRAI this summer.
The 48th annual ride across Iowa returns this summer after being canceled last year due to the pandemic. The 426-mile-long ride will be from July 25-31. This year's route includes a stop on Day 4 in Waterloo, the 4th time the city will host RAGBRAI riders overnight. Waterloo hasn't hosted for 10 years.
The 2021 route starts in Le Mars with overnight stops in Sac City, Fort Dodge, Iowa Falls, Waterloo, Anamosa, and DeWitt before ending in Clinton. The route can be viewedhere.
