2020 Trail Projects UpdateA number of 2020 projects have been completed so far this summer that include 2.6 miles of new trail development along with over 4 miles of surface overlays. However, construction continues into September on Tatanka Ska Trace that will add another 2.7 miles to the rail trail starting from Hudson Avenue in Spirit Lake and going west to reach Highway 86. Before the end of fall, the trails system will have grown by over 5 miles! The Dickinson County Trails Board is excited to see so many people using these new trail routes and we look forward to more miles to build in 2021.
