The cyclist was a 9 year old boy who was hit in a residential neighborhood.
ISP says alcohol and excessive speed have been ruled out and they are still investigating the crash.

Preliminary Investigation shows a pick-up driven by Patrick Conway, 70, was driving West in the 300 block of Smith Street in Russel when he collided with a bicycle ridden by a minor juvenile at approx 3:30pm.
This was a head-on collision in the middle of the road.
The minor was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details have been provided at this time.
