RAGBRAI is in its 47th year, but 2009 was the first time the bicycle tour stopped in Indianola. And it hasn't been back since.
"Our town is amazing and I was thrilled for us to be a host town," said Ryan Waller, Indianola city manager.
At a table of Indianola city officials, everyone was overwhelmed with joy at the news the town of just under 15,000 people will have thousands of cyclists join them over the summer.
