A Lake View man is in intensive care after he was hit by a pickup truck Tuesday evening.
According to the Lake View Police Department, Kevin Sean Zehnder, was traveling on a bicycle near the intersection of North Blossom and 3rd Streets at approximately 7 p.m. Zehnder entered the intersection and was struck by 33-year-old Adam Babcock of Sac City, who was operating the pickup truck.
Zehnder was transported to Loring Hospital by Sac County Emergency Medical Services and was later airlifted to a Des Moines hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Lake View Chief of Police, Royce Kemmen, says an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
