The Osceola County Sheriff’s Department reported the arrest of James Eldon Lohr, 35, Sibley, about 11:15 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on charges of public intoxication and interference with official acts, both simple misdemeanors.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation of a man riding a bicycle without a light while carrying an alcoholic beverage near the intersection of 10th Street and Second Avenue in Sibley. When a deputy attempted to stop Lohr, he rode off but eventually was taken into custody at Dyno’s convenience store.
