A man riding a bicycle was taken to the hospital after a collision with car in Cedar Rapids.
Police say the collision happened at the intersection of Collins Road andTwixt Town Road Northeast, just after 6 p.m. on Friday. Once at the scene, officers closed the westbound lane of Collins Road/Highway 100 between Twixt Town Road through 1st Avenue Northeast in Cedar Rapids.
The condition of the cyclist is not known at this time, and officers say they're still investigating the circumstances of the crash. The names of the people involved have not been made public at this time.
