A meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, July 14, at 6:30 p.m., at the Marion County Public Health Training Room, 2003 North Lincoln Street in Knoxville to continue and finalize efforts in developing a concept plan for multi-use trails in Marion County, with the intent of linking trails within the Central Iowa region.
The Steering Committee is chaired by Steve Edwards, Director of the Marion County Conservation Department. Other Steering Committee members include Craig Agan, Kathy Bruxvoort, Brett Call, Tyler Christian, Lauren Dietz, Sharry Johnson, Megan McKay, Kris Van Gent, Jeanette Vaugahn, Corinne Verhoef, Corinne Verschure and April Verwers.
The public, governmental representatives and others are strongly encouraged to attend as well.
