Iowa City officials are looking for vaccination history ofa dog that bit a bicyclist on Thursday.

In a Monday news release, Iowa City Animal Services said they received a report on Monday that a dog had bitten a bicyclist near Rita's Ranch Dog Park on Scott Boulevard at about 8 p.m.Thursday.

According to the release, the victim was cycling near the entrance to the dog park and was approached by two dogs being walked on leashes. One of the dogs bit the victim on the ankle, the release said.

The dog that bit the person was described as medium-large with short orange and white hair, the release said. The dog's owner was said to be a middle-aged man who was with another man.
