Two Fort Madison radio personalities have spent a night elevated on a lift as part of a campaign to get bike donations for children.

The Hawk Eye reported Drew Kirby and Tory Wuycheck from Bull Mornings on 101.7 FM spent Wednesday night suspended 43 feet in the air on a lift, which had enough room for a tent, portable toilet, computer system and a few chairs.

Temperatures on Wednesday were in the high 20s. They plan to stay on the lift until Friday morning, no matter how cold it gets.

Kirby said the thought of a child receiving a bicycle he or she didn’t think they would receive for Christmas is what’s keeping the pair going.
