Bicyclist killed by pickup truck in Winneshiek County

by Daniel Finney A bicyclist was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Winneshiek County Wednesday, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report. The bicyclist was crossing Conover Road near U.S. Highway 52 and Calmar when the rider was struck by the pickup. The crash occurred at about 4:2o p.m. The names of the pickup driver and the bicyclist will be released later today, the crash report said.
