Midwest’s Largest Bicycle and Equipment SWAP scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26 Madison WI at the Alliant Energy Center The Cronometro/Brazen Dropouts Cycling Team 11th Annual Bike Swap will be held on Saturday, January 26 in Madison, Wisconsin, at a new and expanded location, the Alliant Energy Center, located at the John Nolen Drive exit of Beltline HWY 12/18. The Swap has been moved from it’s traditional home at the National Guard Armory because of Operation Enduring Freedom and due to increased demand for space from buyers and sellers. The swap will run from 9:30 Am until 3:00 PM. The Swap is a great chance for all bicyclists to find incredible deals on bikes, components, clothing and accessories. Whether you are a casual commuter looking for a bargain on fenders, a bike addicted tech-weenie, or a parent looking to save a buck, the swap is a must attend event that has become a Midwestern midwinter cycling tradition. Racing, mountain, cyclocross, commuting, touring, triathlon and collectible stuff is bought, sold and swapped in this friendly frenzy of biking deals, steals and fun. The cost is a $5 donation to shop and or a $40 donation for an 8-foot table to display wares and bikes. Vendor registration forms are only available at www.cronometro.com. Additional questions can be answered at Cronometro, 1402 Williamson St., phone # 608-243-7760. Proceeds go to help the Brazen Dropouts Bicycle Racing Club and their annual “Wheels on Willy” bike race during the coming year. For additional information contact: Colin O’Brien, of CRONOMETRO Custom Bicycles at 608-243-7760 or Steve Silverberg, President of Brazen Dropouts Cycling Team at 608-258-8289.
