Polk City officials are exploring how to regulate e-bikes and e-scooters following discussions during a city council work session Monday night.
Police Chief Jeremy Siepker suggested continuing to educate the public on safety and treating e-bikes and e-scooters like bicycles under existing traffic laws rather than creating a new ordinance.
