A north Iowa man was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle in Floyd County, Iowa.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. Monday on 220th Street and Walnut Avenue, just outside of Charles City.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the pickup truck was heading east when the driver hit Robert Krueger, 77, of Charles City, on a bike.
Krueger was flown to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.
The crash is under investigation.
