One northwest Iowa community is starting to put plans together for this year’s bike ride across Iowa, also known as RAGBRAI.
Onawa RAGBRAI leadership hosted a public meeting at the Onawa Community Center on April 15 for non-profits, business owners, and community members.
Some of the topics that were discussed include road closures, vendors, volunteers, and housing.
RAGBRAI officials said the town should prepare for up to 40,000 riders to come.
