Community partners are coming together to help local youth gear up for a safe and active spring and summer. ACommunity Bike Tune-Up Eventwill be heldSaturday, April 25, from 9 am to 12 pm, atMidwest Mission, 219 N Chestnut Street in Jefferson.
Hosted byMidwest Mission,Jefferson Kiwanis, andRotary Club of Jefferson, this free event invites area youth to bring their bikes for a spring tune-up. Experienced volunteers will be available to assist with minor repairs and safety checks, helping ensure bikes are ready for the riding season ahead.
In addition to tune-ups, community members are encouraged to donate gently used bikes or bike parts. Donations will support Midwest Mission’s microbusiness initiatives, which equip individuals and communities around the world with tools and training to generate sustainable income.
