My name is Landon McPherson, and I am a Life Scout with Troop 163 working toward the rank of Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I am leading a community improvement effort to install a public bike repair station in Cambridge, Iowa.
This project is designed to support the growing number of cyclists in our community and along the nearby Heart of Iowa Nature Trail. The repair station will provide essential tools and a bike pump, allowing riders to make basic repairs and adjustments while on the go. It will promote bicycle safety, encourage outdoor activity, and serve both residents and visitors who use our local trails and roads.
