A 10-year-old boy riding his bike was hit by a truck while trying to cross the road in Dunkerton Tuesday, according to the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened at 10:37 Tuesday morning in the 400 block of East Dunkerton Street. The boy was taken to Allen Hospital for injuries but is expected to be okay.
The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office is not releasing the names of those involved at this time.
