The Tour De Rock is a great recreational bike ride on the Volksweg Trail near Pella, Iowa. This paved,asphalt trail showcases Lake Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake,and surrounding parks. This year's route will have an optional loop, crossing the Des Moines River and heading south before rejoining the Volksweg trail.
Route
Start Pella Square
Ride Volksweg out of town.
Loop one will start at footbridge
below dam.
(SAG STOP in middle of loop one)
Continue to end of trail(SAG STOP)
Loop two follows road to Cordova Tower
Go Back to SAG and continue on trail to
Pella.
Loops are optional.Perfect first ride for families(You can stay on the trail and return to Pella at any time)
