A Ride for Ride

The theme for this year's 10th Annual ride reflects the support that each cyclist will give to our Wear Yellow Cab Ride Program. The fee for each rider on the Wear Yellow Ride will support one cab ride for a cancer patient who may not have adequate transportation to get to their treatments.

Wear Yellow Nebraska will be hosting the 10th Annual Wear Yellow Ride on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Strategic Air & Space Museum, Ashland, Nebraska. The bike tour aims to raise funds and awareness for Wear Yellow Nebraska which is a local grassroots organization fighting against cancer through advocacy, awareness and fundraising. We want to inspire others in the community to take action in our fight. Our mission is to unite Nebraskans in the fight against cancer through advocacy, awareness and fundraising.

Distances:
Over 500 participants from as far as North Platte, Syracuse, Fremont, Council Bluffs, Lincoln, and the Omaha, Nebraska metro area will choose their course distance with 10, 22, 38, 51 and 62 mile options available (all distances are approximate and may vary up to one half mile). All courses will close at 1pm, please choose a route that you can complete by this allotted time.

Bike Give A Way!
Watch for opportunities to purchase raffle tickets for our bike raffle prior to the ride!

We are excited to be raffling a brand new fixed gear/singlespeed bike from State Bicycle Company, a leader in the fixed gear/singlespeed industry. This limited edition bike's frame is a 55cm which will accommodate riders from 5' 5" to 6' 2" in height. The bike comes ready to ride with pedals, toe cages and front and rear brakes. Be sure to purchase your raffle tickets for this gem! Tickets will be sold $5 for one or $20 for 5 tickets.

Post Ride Event:
Riders are encouraged to stick around after the ride for a pancake breakfast by the Pancake Man, our legendary raffle and door prizes! It's also Helicopter Day at the Museum. Each rider with a paid registration will have free access to the museum following the event.
