This is a unique Wine Night event that is open to the public. A number of the WN members will be riding bikes to the vineyard from Des Moines. Also, a number of the members will be camping overnight. Everybody is welcome to ride out and camp overnight if they wish. From Orlandos in Des Moines it's about a 25-30 mile ride to the vineyard. There are roughly 15 acres of open pasture for camping, but the terrain is hilly. Madison County Winery has one indoor restroom available but will have additional porta-pots onsite. There will also be a fire pit and firewood available. Shortly after sunset a torch will be put to this year's vine cuttings for a BONFIRE OF THE VINES.
