Trail Ride

Distance - Approximately 34 miles, roundtrip with the additional Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge loop.

Join us for our second annual Pedal the Prairie bike ride! Starting at the bison statue in Prairie City's Entryway Park, 305 S Prairie Dr. You also have the option to follow the Prairie Parkway trail into the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge and return to meet up with the Red Rock Prairie Trail through Prairie City over to Monroe!

This will be a casual, at your own pace, ride to Monroe and return. All riders are encouraged to wear a helmet while on the trails. 

**Extra bonus--this event takes place on the same day as Monroe's Old Settlers celebration.**

Registration for ride participant is $40, includes T-shirt and a meal ticket. Only want the ride T-shirt, $22. To register, scan the QR code on the poster or use the ZEFFY link posted to the Facebook event page under TICKETS! As always, the Friends of Red Rock Prairie Trail accepts tax-deductible donations.

Route

Starting at the Entryway Park in Prairie City, riders can also choose to follow the Prairie Parkway Trail marked bike lanes on Pacific St and return to Red Rock Prairie Trail to continue over to Monroe to enjoy the Old Settlers Celebration and use your meal ticket before returning to Prairie City. If you want a shorter ride, start at Entryway Park to ride to Monroe and back to Prairie City.

Registration packet with meal ticket and T-shirt will be available for pick up at Entryway Park in Prairie City starting at 9am, just prior to the ride start. The meal ticket is for a sandwich and chips from the Monroe Kiwanis food stand on the NW corner of the Monroe square, valid from 9:30am to 2:30pm on ride day only!
