The Street Collective’s PedalArt Poster Show returns Friday, May 15 at Confluence Brewing Company, featuring bicycle-themed posters by 28 local artists. Limited-edition prints sell for $40 each. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
“PedalArt is Street Collective’s biggest fundraiser and one of Des Moines' most beloved community art events,” said Alex Rice, executive director. “Buying local art and enjoying a night out at Confluence is a great way to support Street Collective's work to make Des Moines an amazing place to walk and bike.”
New artists, limited prints
More than 250 Iowa artists have participated in the PedalArt Poster Show since 2010. This year, 28 artists were selected, with roughly half making their PedalArt debut.
The 2026 artists include Audrey Vander Schel, Barb Thompson, Brandon Hoch, Brian Sauer, Cassandra Tant, Chandler Condon, Dave Bergeron, David Kallemyn, Eddy Randall, Hannah Ludwig, Jack Randleman, Jacob Rempfer, James Ewald, Jen Gauerke, John Bosley, John Petsel, Joshua Pritz, Judy Muniz, Mallory Leonetti, Maddy Fusco, McKenzie Stewart, Michael Givens, Neil Ward, Noah Niemeyer, Sarah McCoy, Stephanie Wharton, Zane Vredenburg and Zoe Hermsen.
Each artist offers just 30 prints for sale, and opening at Confluence typically draws around 500 people. Most posters sell out that evening. After the Confluence event, the exhibition moves to Bike World in West Des Moines (5003 EP True Pkwy), where any remaining posters will be on display and available for purchase.
Confluence Brewing Company has ample bicycle parking for Show patrons.

About Street Collective
Founded in 2008 and formerly known as the Des Moines Bicycle Collective, the Street Collective has a mission to make Des Moines an amazing place to walk and bike. The organization operates a community bike shop in the East Village, where donated bikes are refurbished and distributed to youth and individuals in need or sold affordably to the public. The Street Collective also offers education programs, repair classes, bike valet, and bike rack installation, and advocates for improved biking, walking, and transit infrastructure. Additionally, the Street Collective operates the metro’s Bike Share system, a fleet of 200 ebikes and regular bikes available for short-term rental at 32 stations across the Des Moines area. Since its founding, the organization has given away more than 4000 bikes and hosted around 140,000 bike share trips.
