Trail Ride

Distance - 20 miles

Join us on Saturday, May 2, as we roll through the heart of Des Moines for the much-anticipated 2026 Mayor's Annual Ride, hosted by Des Moines Parks and Recreation!

Pedal alongside our Mayor Connie Boesen! 

It's not just a ride; it's a chance to kick off the season while supporting our trail system. 

Your participation helps fund the trails that both residents and guests of DSM enjoy year-round. 

WHAT DO THE PROCEEDS GO TOWARD?

The funds raised by this event will go to funding bike racks and other projects along our trails!

"I Support the Trails" registration option which is $15.
With this option, you don't get any swag, but you can still champion this beloved tradition!
OR, if you cannot make the ride and still want to give... you can still use this option and your support ensures the event's continuation.

Registration

FEES:
Adult Ride: $35 per adult before May 4 | $50 on-site
Youth Ride: $5 for ages 5 through 17 | Children 4&U ride free
Your adult registration fee covers a commemorative t-shirt, a chance to win a free bike, refreshments at a rest stop, and the joy of cycling with fellow enthusiasts. Youth registration fee does not include a t-shirt. 

OR
Opt for the $15 "I Support" registration option if you're a minimalist or simply wish to champion this beloved tradition without participating in the ride. Your support ensures the event's continuation!


Day Of Registration:
Full registration for $50 at the Admin office or still $15 for the "I support" option.
