Join us for the 13th annual FORE! Our Parks bike ride + golf outing on Friday, June 12, 2026. This is the only charity golf outing with a bike option that we know of! Grab your friends and come out to support Des Moines parks, trails and recreational programs! Last year we had more bikers than golfers - help us keep up the streak!

This social ride starts and ends at Waveland Golf Course with 3 refreshment stops along the route and free pizza after the ride. Ride at your own pace on several city trails taking in the scenery along the way.

Registration for the event includes:

• Custom bike socks
• 3 drink tickets to use along the ride
• slap koozie
• Free Fat Joe's Pizza after the ride

Route

Pedal your way through a 24-mile loop that includes eight of Des Moines’ scenic city trails. Along the way, you’ll  pass parks, historic cemeteries, and some of the city’s most iconic bridges.
