Mountain Biking

Distance - 1 lap of 3 miles trail run, then 2 laps totaling about 6 miles of mountain bike.

The Des Moines Dirty Duathlon is Central Iowa Trails Association's annual mountain biking/trail running race held at Center Trails at Greenwood Park in Des Moines, Iowa.

100% of the proceeds go towards maintaining and building local singletrack trails in the Des Moines Metro.

Trail Run, Mountain Bike or do both:
Dirty Du (Solo or Relay) 1 lap of 3 miles trail run, then 2 laps totaling about 6 miles of mountain bike.
Kids Race - 1 lap run or 1 lap bike on designated kids course (FREE, Registration not required)

Route

The Course: Incorporating professionally built singletrack throughout Greenwood Park in Des Moines, the course takes you through an old growth forest, including super fun, flowy downhill, a creek crossing, and plenty of lung-busting climbing.

Start and Finish is typically near the Jay Spence Shelter at Greenwood Park near Bergman Academy.
