Trail Ride

Distance - 42 MILES

We will meet at the Nitehawk bar at 11:00 and try to leave by noon.  We will travel west to The Flat Tire in Madrid and stay there about an hour.  We will continue across the High Trestle Trail bridge to The Whistling Donkey in Woodward.  A short trip west to Drifters in Bouton.  We will return back the same way we came staying about an hour at each  stop.  There is a full  kitchen at the NiteHawk and the Donkey and bar appetizers at The Flat Tire and Drifters. Some people may want to wait to re cross the bridge after sunset when the lights come on.  It is a fantastic sight. There is a music festival going on at The Slater Station which is two blocks east of the Nitehawk.  The last two acts start at 7:00 and 9:00, bring a lawn chair.  This is a busy trail so please respect other bikers and walkers by staying single file as much as  possible, especially when you hear the call out "BIKES UP!"

This is a party ride so you are responsible  for your biking, your drinking and your actions. Remember rule #1   HAVE FUN!!
