Race will be held on the large loop of Water Works Park. Registration and packet pick up at the shelter on south end of loop. Men's and Women's prize list equal through top 5 places (Pro/1/2/3). Separate U23 prize list - though U23 riders also qualify for Women's open and Mens's Pro/1/2/3 prizes.

This will be the SECOND race of a THREE race series including our April and August races.
This is the fourth edition of the GP Des Moines and we will hold an August edition as well.
Bike races like GP Des Moines only thrive if racers show up; and over the past three seasons you have supported our events and for this I THANK YOU. In the summer of 2020, no one really knew what to expect: events were cancelled and it was hard to know if bike racing would survive. In 2022, I think it was safe to say that bike racing had survived, but the landscape looked a lot different than it did pre-pandemic. Which brings me to my point: race promoters around the nation need your support. Pre register, show up, race and have a good time! I believe in bike racing, and rather than hedge my bets and see what happens; I'm going to double down and deliver more racing.
We have an ambitious schedule planned for 2023 and hope you are excited for it!
