About The Ride

Our 2nd Annual ‘Level B Service Ride’ features the backroads of Jefferson County in SE Iowa, where we have more dirt roads than any neighboring county.

You will roll out Saturday, September 25th between 6:00 am – 9 am (depending on which route you choose to register for) from Central Park in Fairfield Iowa 

You can expect 3 different route options to fit any type of rider from beginner to aficionado. Reminder: This ride is not a race and a “mostly” on your own ride with little to no signage. We will have a SAG and Water/ Snack Stations along each route if needed.

Route

Too Legit To Quit – 31.4mi

Start: Any time between 6:00 – 9 am
SAG Support stops at: 3 pm
Dirt Road Mileage: 11.1 miles
Elevation Gain: 1308 ft.
Water/ Snack Stops: 1

Eat My Shorts – 50.8mi

Start: Any time between 6:00 – 9 am
SAG Support stops at: 3 pm
Dirt Road Mileage: 17.5 miles
Elevation Gain: 1914 ft.
Water/ Snack Stops: 2

The Beast – 117.2 mi

Start: Any time between 6:00 – 7 am
Checkpoint: You must make it to the Batavia checkpoint location by 2 pm to continue to have SAG support
SAG Support stops at: 8 pm
Dirt Road Mileage: 36.3 miles
Elevation Gain: 5,159 ft.
Water/ Snack Stops: 4

Registration

REGISTRATION COST: $30 

What’s Included in Your Registration:

• SAG Support – if you break down or just can’t finish the route call our SAG team and they will come rescue you.
• Water & Snack Stations – there will be a few water and snack stations along each route to help you refuel to keep going
• $10 Fairfield Chamber Bucks  – use after your ride to celebrate your victory from any of these local businesses.
• NOTE BEFORE REGISTERING: Helmets, lights/ flashers are mandatory and will be checked at the start.
