Party Ride

To GEAR up for St. Patrick's Day, ride your bike to Des Moines’ Premier Irish Bars and receive give-aways, drink specials and prizes for the top Irish costumes! 

Starting Location is either Sully’s (110 Grand Avenue) or Mickey Finn's at noon (7020 Douglas Ave). If starting at Sully’s, leave at noon to ride to Mickey Finn’s. 

Party at Mickey Finn's until 2:00, then head to Ducktail Lounge, which is Irish for the day.  Party at Ducktail until 4:00, then head to Sully’s for the final party.  Enjoy $3 Pizzas at Sully's from 4-6pm.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 costumes at 6pm!

All three bars will offer $3 Fireballs, and $3 16-oz Bud & Bud Light Aluminums, plus give-aways!

Sully’s to Mickey Finn’s

Take Grand east 1 block across 63^rd Street to Walnut Creek Trail.  North on the trail until it hooks up with Colby Woods Trail.  Follow that trail north of Hickman.  After crossing Walnut Creek, take a left, then jog right to N. Walnut Creek Drive.  Jog right to Roseland Drive and follow Roseland northeast to 70^th Street.  Left on 70^th.  Left at Mickey Finn’s on Douglas.

Mickey Finn’s to Ducktail

Hop on 70^th Street from Mickey Finn’s and head south to Roseland Drive.  West (right) on Roseland.  Follow Roseland down to N. Walnut Creek Drive and jog over right, then left, to hop on Colby Woods Trail.  Shortly after getting on that trail, turn right to cross Walnut Creek.  Follow the trail to College Drive and get off the trail and take a right on College.  College to Harbach.  Right on Harbach.  Harbach to 86^th.  Right to Ducktail.

Ducktail to Sully’s

86^th south to Clive Greenbelt Trail.  Follow Greenbelt Trail to Walnut Creek Trail.  Get off Walnut Creek Trail at Grand and take Grand west over 63^rd Street.  Sully’s is on south side of Grand behind Grand Avenue Vet and the old Burger King.
