Join Opportunity Village friends and family for the inaugural
Pedal for a Purpose, a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization
supporting more than 600 individuals with disabilities in more than 30
communities including Fort Dodge (Northwoods Living and Northwoods
Products & Services), Webster City, Eagle Grove and Humboldt.
The bike ride will be held June 18, and the ride route will
start and end at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge. Registration starts at 12
p.m. followed by the bike ride at 1 p.m. Riders will have the option to
bike a short route or complete the full route. Food and beverages will
be available after the ride and door prizes will be awarded.
Early bird registration for Pedal for a Purpose continues
through May 27. Those who register early for the event are guaranteed an
event t-shirt to wear on the ride. Online late registration will be
available and participants can also register at the event.
